To ensure that accidents like slips and tripping are avoided, you should remove anything that is lying on the way to avoid tripping over and causing injuries. In cases where the floor is slippery, you will be advised to put up a “slippery floor” sign o that workers will walk slowly and avoid slipping over.
Safety clothing like overalls and glasses should be provided to ensure that the worker is not physically harmed. You should also wear masks when handling things with strong smell and dusty equipments. You should make sure that ladders are in good condition and they are well balanced to prevent it from falling down.
Lifting of heavy loads should be avoided, especially if they are being carried to a long distance. This can break your hand or you might get some chest pain. Gods lifting equipments should be used in such cases and fewer accidents will be experienced. You should go to training in order to know how to operate some office machine. This will put you in a position to know that you will be safe when using the machine.
Some machines that are hard to operate will be given to specific people to operate them. You can also stick a list of instruction on how to operate the machine next to it so that it is clearly seen, read and understood. You should always insist that the workers follow the safety measures whenever at work to reduce the number of accidents.
